Russian-speaking artists are taking part in Owltober, a month-long challenge of creating owl-themed artwork each day. Day three's theme is the moon, and participants are sharing handmade pieces including miniature paintings on stones depicting barn owls. The challenge is drawing engagement from art and bird-loving communities, with creators posting their daily works under shared hashtags in both Russian and English.
Why now: Owltober is a daily art challenge running through October, so participants are sharing each day's themed artwork.
