Open-source tool deletes 12GB of Apple Intelligence data on Macs

Original: An open-source tool lets you delete 12GB of Apple Intelligence data on macOS

A free, open-source utility called RemoveMacAI lets macOS users switch off Apple Intelligence entirely and delete the AI models Apple downloads locally, reportedly freeing up more than 12GB of storage. The tool is drawing attention from users who don't want Apple's AI features or who are short on disk space, reigniting debate about Apple shipping large AI models by default on Macs.

Why now: People with storage-constrained Macs are interested in a simple way to disable Apple Intelligence and reclaim over 12GB of space.
