Relatives of Virginia Giuffre, a victim of Jeffrey Epstein, appear in an attack ad targeting Jeff Crank, a Republican congressman from Colorado, ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. The ad, reported by The Guardian, ties Crank to the Epstein controversy, and the involvement of Giuffre's family has drawn attention to how the Epstein case continues to shape US election campaigns.
Why now: The Epstein scandal remains a politically charged issue in the run-up to the 2026 US midterm elections, with both parties using it to attack opponents.
