Original: Mitsui’s Three W Solar comes online in Texas | Projects Weekly
Mitsui's Three W Solar project has begun commercial operation in Texas, according to industry trade coverage of new energy projects. The completion adds to the growing roster of utility-scale solar installations in the state, where large land availability and demand from the grid have made Texas one of the busiest solar markets in the United States. Details on capacity and offtake arrangements were limited in initial reports.
Why now: Texas continues to lead US utility-scale solar buildout, and each major project coming online draws attention from the energy industry.
