ARC Raiders and The Finals to get TV and movie adaptations
Embark Studios' extraction shooter ARC Raiders and its team-based shooter The Finals are set to be adapted into television and film projects. The move follows the games' growing popularity, with ARC Raiders in particular drawing a large player base. Gamers are debating whether the titles' competitive, session-based format can translate into compelling screen storytelling, and who might be attached to the productions.
Why now: Both games have large active player communities, so news of screen adaptations is drawing widespread attention from fans and entertainment media.
