Community database tracks which Android apps run on Sailfish OS
Original: # SailfishOS App Compatibility Database: A great project to find out which # Android apps work on Sailfish OS if you nee
A community-maintained compatibility database for Sailfish OS is drawing attention, helping users check which Android apps work on the independent mobile operating system, and pointing them toward native alternatives where possible. Sailfish OS users, a small but dedicated group around Jolla's Linux-based platform, have long relied on Android app support to fill software gaps, and the project at sailfishos.app offers a central place to look up app support before installing.
Why now: Sailfish OS users are actively looking for reliable ways to know which Android apps will run on their devices.
