Norway Considers Partial Ban on Smart Glasses
Original: Norway Eyes Partial Ban of Smart Glasses
Norway is weighing a partial ban on smart glasses, according to a news report. The move reflects growing regulatory scrutiny of camera-equipped wearable devices and the privacy concerns they raise in public spaces. Details of which devices or uses would be covered by the proposed restrictions have not been outlined, and discussion of the report has so far been limited to the headline claim itself.
Why now: Privacy concerns over camera-equipped wearables and the novelty of a government moving to restrict them
