Uttar Pradesh have, for the first time, decided to separate the roles of captain and coach as they prepare for the upcoming Indian domestic cricket season. The move breaks from the state's tradition of a single leadership structure and signals a new approach to team management. Details about the individuals appointed to the two roles have not been widely reported, but the decision marks a notable change in how the side will be run.
