Why Some Viewers Skip Built-In TV Streaming Apps
Original: For my TVs, I use Apple TV 4Ks for streaming. I never use the built-in apps on the TV for streaming. # tv # privacy # ap
One viewer says they use an Apple TV 4K box for streaming on every television and never touch the built-in apps, citing privacy. The preference reflects a wider concern that smart TV platforms track viewing habits and push ads, leading some people to rely on external streaming devices instead.
Why now: Growing attention to smart TVs collecting viewer data has people discussing external streaming devices as a privacy workaround
