Spark, a youth-led volunteer project in Gaza that works with young people, says it needs donations to stay open. A fundraising appeal on the crowdfunding site Chuffed reports it has raised 110 toward a 300 goal, with a Sunday deadline, and is asking supporters to pledge weekly or monthly if they can. Supporters are sharing the appeal under mutual aid hashtags to widen its reach.
Why now: The project faces an urgent fundraising deadline and backers are rallying to keep it operating.
