Runner's headlamp dies mid-run on dark evening hills

Original: Unprepared # running today: out too late, lamp battery too low. 🌚! So, take of the tape only. And it's good! That pace?

A runner headed out too late in the day and their headlamp battery ran too low, leaving them to manage the dark routes with limited light. Despite the setback, they were pleased with the result, citing a strong pace on the hills while keeping their heart rate down — calling it 'successfully raising the floor.'

Why now: People are discussing winter running challenges like fading daylight and gear failures.
