Roberts pulls Pages' ABS challenge privileges after Game 1 miss
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts has taken away Andy Pages' ability to call Automated Ball-Strike challenges after the outfielder wasted the team's challenge on a missed call in Game 1. The move highlights how managers are now policing use of the ABS system, which gives players a limited number of replay-based challenges on balls and strikes during games.
Why now: The ABS challenge system is new to MLB this season, so managerial decisions over who gets challenge rights are drawing attention.
