Original: No apology, no handshakes from Indian players: Is this why PCB denied NOCs for WCL 3? Pakistan Champions
The Pakistan Cricket Board has reportedly refused no-objection certificates for Pakistani players to take part in season three of the World Championship of Legends, where a Pakistan Champions side would face Indian counterparts. Reports suggest the decision followed Indian players' refusal to apologise or exchange handshakes with Pakistani counterparts, reflecting continuing political tensions spilling into cricket between the two countries.
Why now: Ongoing India-Pakistan political tensions and handshake controversies are affecting player participation in shared cricket events.
