Disney to air Percy Jackson on rival streamer before season 3
Original: Disney Is Bringing Percy Jackson to a Streaming Competitor Ahead of Season 3 Premiere
Disney is licensing Percy Jackson to a competing streaming platform ahead of the show's third season premiere. The move puts the series in front of a rival's audience just as new episodes arrive, an unusual arrangement for a flagship Disney property. Details on which platform is involved and how the release will be timed have not been made clear.
Why now: It is surprising for Disney to share a major franchise with a streaming competitor right before a new season.
