New York declares emergency over measles outbreak
Original: New York declares first US measles disaster emergency since 2025 surge
New York has declared the first measles disaster emergency in the United States since the 2025 outbreak surge. The move gives state authorities expanded powers to respond to the spread of the highly contagious virus.
