Guardians' high-speed lutch replay marred by flickering LED ad

Original: Watching the Guardians again and they did a high speed of the lutch, which was cool. But the ad behind it was flickering

A baseball fan rewatching Cleveland Guardians ALDS footage noted a high-speed replay of the 'lutch' play that looked impressive, but the LED advertising board behind it flickered on camera. The observer called the placement not well thought through, since LED boards often strobe when filmed at high frame rates. The comment is a small production-quality critique of the broadcast during the playoffs.

Why now: Fans are watching and critiquing ALDS playoff broadcasts closely right now.

• Watching the Guardians again and they did a high speed of the lutch, which was cool. But the ad behind it was flickering because it's LED and that's what they do. Not really thought through. # ALDS # Baseball # ClevelandGuardians · Tourma@tech.lgbt · 1
