Violent school protests in France put Belgium in the spotlight

Original: belgië

Hundreds of French schools have been closed amid fears of new violent protests by students. Dutch media report brawls and arson during the schoolboy riots, with claims that far-left groups are fuelling the unrest. The searches for Belgium suggest people are watching whether similar school protests could spread to Belgium, though no concrete events there are confirmed.

Why now: People are searching for Belgium because the French school riots are raising fears the unrest could spread across the border.
