Instinct brings its AI agent into group chats
Original: Instinct brings its AI agent to group chats, even for friends without an account https://techcrunch.com/2026/10/05/insti
Startup Instinct has launched its AI agent inside group chats, letting users summon it in conversations with friends even when those friends do not have an account. The move, reported by TechCrunch, removes a common signup barrier and positions the assistant for casual, social use rather than solo productivity, sparking discussion about how AI agents may spread through messaging apps.
Why now: The no-account feature lowers barriers to AI assistant adoption in everyday group conversations, making it notable in the fast-moving AI agent space.
