Texas is approaching Election Day without a single debate held in the races for U.S. Senate and governor. Spectrum News reports the absence of debates in both statewide contests, a notable gap for voters seeking to compare candidates before casting ballots. With early voting underway or imminent, candidates have not faced each other on stage, leaving voters to rely on ads, town halls and campaign appearances.
