Trump reverses course, urges Republicans to vote by mail
Original: Trump REVERSES course, tells Republicans to vote by mail now
Donald Trump has reversed his long-standing opposition to mail-in voting, telling Republicans they should vote by mail in upcoming elections. The former president had spent years claiming, without evidence, that postal ballots invite fraud. The shift puts him at odds with parts of his own party and is drawing wide attention as the 2024 election cycle intensifies.
Why now: Trump's reversal on a core election issue is a major political about-face heading into the 2024 race
