Are right-brained people more creative? Science says otherwise
Original: Are right‑brained people more creative? Here's what science tells us
A widely shared feature revisits the popular belief that creative people are 'right-brained' and logical people 'left-brained'. It reports that neuroscience does not support this divide: while the brain's hemispheres handle some tasks differently, personality and creativity are not governed by one side. Researchers say creativity involves networks spread across the whole brain, and the left/right personality myth persists because it offers a tidy way to categorise people.
Why now: The persistent left-brain/right-brain personality myth keeps resurfacing, and readers enjoy having it debunked with current neuroscience.
