A critical vulnerability, CVE-2026-86360, has been disclosed in Dell System Update (DSU) CLI. The path traversal bug lets an unauthenticated remote attacker execute arbitrary code as root. Dell has released a fix in DSU 2.3.0.0, which also patches four other DSU flaws. No exploitation has been reported so far, but security experts are urging administrators to update promptly.
