Teacher explains the real reason teens no longer read
Original: Teacher reveals the ‘really obvious’ reason teens no longer read. It’s not just the phones. https:// fed.brid.gy/r/https
A teacher is drawing attention online after arguing that smartphones alone do not explain why teenagers read far less than previous generations. The teacher says the reason is 'really obvious' but often overlooked, pointing to broader changes in how schools and young people approach books. The piece has struck a chord with educators and parents debating declining literacy and attention among teens.
Why now: Ongoing public concern about declining teen literacy and the role of phones and schooling keeps this debate active.
