Quebec voters react as CAQ suffers election losses
Original: Not happy with the results (so far) but I am enjoying seeing the CAQ eat shit. # quebec # elections
Early results from Quebec's provincial election show the Coalition Avenir Québec losing significant ground, drawing mixed reactions from voters. One commenter summed up a common mood: dissatisfaction with the overall results but satisfaction at seeing the CAQ punished at the ballot box. The party, which had governed Quebec since 2018 under François Legault, appears to be facing a major electoral rebuke.
Why now: Quebec's election results are being reported in real time and the governing CAQ is performing badly.
