Russian air defense fire damages residential tower in Kotelniki near Moscow
Original: Kotelniki, near Moscow (20 km from the Kremlin): The occupiers’ air defense forces demilitarized a residential high-rise
Reports claim Russian air defense operations in Kotelniki, a Moscow suburb about 20 km from the Kremlin, damaged a residential high-rise building. The phrasing suggests the damage was caused by Russian defenses responding to a drone attack rather than by the attack itself. Such incidents have become frequent as Ukrainian drones reach deep into Russian territory and interception attempts over populated areas cause destruction.
Why now: Air defense intercepts near Moscow increasingly damage civilian buildings, drawing attention to the risks of the drone war reaching the capital.
