Sniper rifles compared at Lampung military event
Original: POTD: Sniper Diplomacy in Lampung - HK G28 vs. M110
A 'Photo of the Day' feature from firearms outlet The Firearm Blog shows a contrast between the Heckler & Koch G28 and the M110 sniper rifle in Lampung, Indonesia. The pairing of a German-designed marksman rifle with an American one at an Indonesian location suggests a joint military exercise or demonstration, which the outlet has dubbed 'sniper diplomacy'. Details beyond the photo are limited, and the exact event and participants are not specified in the coverage.
Why now: The image of NATO sniper rifles from different countries appearing together in Indonesia fuels interest in defence cooperation and rifle comparison.
