Claims Italy banned Israelis from entry circulate as fake news
Original: What is this fake news italy has banned Israelis from entering the country
Posts are circulating claiming that Italy has banned Israelis from entering the country. One user calls the claim outright fake news, and there is no sign of any official announcement from Italian authorities supporting it. The story appears to be unfounded rumour rather than confirmed policy, with people online questioning where it originated.
Why now: A rumour about Italy barring Israeli travellers is spreading and being debunked as fake news.
