Suzuki launches its first kei EV, the e Sky

Suzuki has launched its first electric kei car, the e Sky, priced from 2.12 million yen and going on sale in mid-November. The 26kWh EV delivers a range of about 310km, using an oil-cooled eAxle. Japanese auto media have been test-driving it, calling it an 'ordinary EV' that is well suited to daily life, and comparing it with Chinese rival BYD's Racco. Recyclable floor mats and accessory kits have also been released.
