Football fans are criticizing Brandon Staley's 'bend, don't break' defensive scheme, arguing that constantly conceding 5-7 yards per play drains the energy out of the crowd in a domed stadium. The complaint is that when the defense keeps bending to the tune of big point totals, fans have nothing to stay excited about, leaving the in-stadium atmosphere lifeless.

Why now: Staley's defense keeps giving up long drives and points, frustrating fans and dulling the home crowd's energy.
