Seahawks sign Joe Mixon after running back troubles
Original: Seattle Seahawks throw Joe Mixon another chance in the NFL following backfield disaster
The Seattle Seahawks have brought in veteran running back Joe Mixon, giving the former Pro Bowler another NFL opportunity after injuries and poor production left their backfield struggling. The move is being covered as a low-risk addition aimed at shoring up a ground game that has failed to deliver this season.
