Writer swaps iPhone 15 Pro Max for standard iPhone 17, no regrets
Original: I 'downgraded' my iPhone 15 Pro Max to a regular iPhone 17 — and I have zero regrets
A Tom's Guide writer says they switched from the iPhone 15 Pro Max to the standard iPhone 17 and have no regrets about the move. The piece frames going from a Pro model to a regular one as a 'downgrade' that turned out to be an easy decision, suggesting the base iPhone 17 now offers enough for most users without the Pro Max premium.
Why now: Apple's new iPhone 17 lineup is prompting buyers to reconsider whether a Pro model is still worth the extra cost.
