Zelensky accuses China and India of helping Russia evade sanctions

Original: Zelensky complains that China and India are helping Russia evade sanctions: "China and India are countries that are help

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said China and India are helping Vladimir Putin evade Western sanctions over the war in Ukraine. "China and India are countries that are helping Putin evade the sanctions. It's the truth. We must be honest," he said. He also argued the West has, in his words, shot itself in the foot twice with its own decisions, continuing Western pressure on Moscow to isolate Russia's economy.

Why now: The remarks renew debate over whether major economies buying Russian oil are undermining Western sanctions.
