An artist has shared a new drawing of Filip, an original character, as part of a numbered art challenge. The piece is inspired by Luceafăr, the evening and morning star from Romanian mythology, best known through Mihai Eminescu's famous poem. The artist says there is barely any established canon about the figure, so they took creative liberty, arguing the character fits the trope of a distant, unreachable beloved. The work is circulating among art-sharing communities online.
Why now: Artists are sharing challenge-based original character art, and mythological inspiration like Luceafăr draws curiosity and engagement.
