Chef Samin Nosrat to Share San Francisco Stage with Israeli Chefs

Original: Samin Nosrat, celebrity chef who signed BDS pledge, to share S.F. stage with Israeli chefs

Samin Nosrat, the Bay Area cookbook author and host known for 'Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat', is scheduled to appear alongside Israeli chefs at an event in San Francisco. The appearance is drawing attention because Nosrat previously signed a BDS pledge supporting boycott of Israel, raising questions about how she reconciles that stance with sharing a stage with Israeli culinary figures.

Why now: The contrast between her signed BDS boycott pledge and appearing with Israeli chefs is seen as controversial and newsworthy.
