Ukraine launches massive drone attack on Moscow region, mayor says
Original: Mayor: Ukraine attacks Moscow region with 650 drones
The mayor of Moscow says Ukraine attacked the Moscow region with around 650 drones, one of the largest drone barrages of the war so far. The claim comes as Russian authorities report air defences engaging incoming drones overnight, though the scale of damage and casualties has not been detailed in the initial report.
Why now: The sheer scale of the reported drone attack makes it one of the biggest strikes on the Russian capital region of the war.
