A new essay by energy analyst Art Berman argues that ecomodernism — the idea that technology can decouple human prosperity from the natural world — rests on the false illusion that humanity exists apart from nature. The piece is being shared among climate and environment circles, with readers calling it a sharp morning read on ecological limits and modernist thinking.
Why now: The essay critiques a popular technocratic approach to climate policy, resonating with environmental debates online.
