Original: ‘Bully in every way’: domestic abuse survivors say ex-partners behind far-right UK street patrols
Seven women have told the Guardian that their ex-partners are involved in far-right anti-immigration street patrols in the UK, describing them as bullies who continued patterns of controlling and violent behaviour. The survivors shared their stories publicly to warn others about the domestic abuse backgrounds behind some participants in the street patrol movement.
Why now: The investigation exposes a personal violence dimension to a street patrol movement already drawing heavy public and political attention in the UK.
