A gardener collected part of the walnut crop from a community orchard over the weekend and set the nuts out to dry in a tray. Alongside the harvest update, they warned that walnut husks contain a powerful natural dye, sharing a photo of a stained hand to show how easily the colour transfers to skin.
Why now: It is autumn harvest season, and gardeners are sharing seasonal crops and practical tips like walnut husk dye stains.
