Ukrainian Drone Destroys Russian Shahed Launcher During Photo Op
A Ukrainian strike drone destroyed a Russian Shahed suicide drone launcher at the moment it was being photographed or filmed, according to footage circulating online. The strike reportedly caught the launcher and its crew during a publicity shoot, suggesting Ukrainian forces tracked the system in real time. Commentators highlight the irony of the timing and what it says about Ukrainian deep-strike capabilities against Russian air defense launch sites.
Why now: The unusual timing of the strike, hitting during a photo opportunity, makes the incident striking and widely shared.
