Ukraine's national grid operator Ukrenergo says scheduled power outages of up to one group will be introduced in some Ukrainian regions from 15:00 until the end of the day. The restrictions are a direct consequence of Russian attacks on energy infrastructure, which have repeatedly forced emergency and planned blackouts across the country to stabilise the power system.
Why now: Russian strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure have resumed, forcing the grid operator to announce new power cuts.
