Fox News Accused of Repackaging Months-Old Uzbek CDL Fraud Story
Original: Fox News Is Six Months Late on the Uzbek CDL Story Fox News is now presenting the Uzbek trucking fraud trend as a fresh
Critics say Fox News is presenting fraud involving Uzbek nationals obtaining commercial driver's licenses as a fresh discovery, months after the story first emerged. The original reporting stems from an April 3, 2026 ICE operation that arrested 13 people at a PennDOT driver license center in West Kittanning, Pennsylvania, following investigations into more than 100 fraudulently obtained licenses. Commenters are mocking the network for being late to a story that circulated widely in earlier months.
Why now: People are discussing the perceived lag between grassroots reporting of the CDL fraud story and its mainstream coverage by Fox News.
