Solar-powered electric scooter promises plug-free commuting
Original: This funky solar electric scooter could handle your commute without ever plugging in
A new solar electric scooter is being promoted as capable of handling daily commutes without ever needing to be plugged in, relying instead on onboard solar panels to keep its battery charged. The design, covered by electric vehicle outlet Electrek, stands out for its unconventional styling and the claim that sunlight alone could cover typical urban travel needs.
Why now: Readers are drawn to the idea of a vehicle that eliminates charging entirely, a major pain point for electric scooter and EV owners.
