Study Finds State Colleges Fail Pregnant and Parenting Students
Original: New Study: Most State Colleges Fail Pregnant and Parenting Students. Students for Life of America Names the “Dirty Dozen” and Demands Change.
Students for Life of America has released a new study concluding that most state colleges are failing pregnant and parenting students. The anti-abortion group published a list it calls the "Dirty Dozen," naming institutions it says provide the least support, and is demanding policy changes, including better accommodations, resources, and protections for students balancing parenthood with their education.
Why now: The new rankings and the group's demands put pressure on named universities, prompting debate over how colleges support pregnant and parenting students.
