A fundraiser marking the organizer's birthday is asking for 32 people to make small monthly pledges to support families and two displacement camps, in partnership with aid workers on the ground. The campaign, hosted on Chuffed, had reached 3 of its 32 backers when it was shared. It is part of ongoing mutual-aid fundraising efforts tied to the Middle East crisis.

Why now: People are sharing and supporting grassroots aid fundraisers for displaced families amid the ongoing Gaza humanitarian crisis.
