German unionists urged to learn from Spain's general strike
Original: Hallo DGB-Gewerkschafter, hier ein Gruß aus Spanien. So macht man das! https://www. nd-aktuell.de/artikel/1202960. wohnu
A call is circulating among German trade unionists pointing to Spain's response to its housing crisis: a general strike, promoted in an article by the left-wing newspaper Neues Deutschland. The message argues this is how workers should act, framing Spain's mobilisation as a model of class struggle and solidarity amid inflation and housing shortages.
Why now: Spain's housing-crisis general strike is being held up as an example for the German labour movement facing similar inflation pressures.
