Survey finds most Android users ignore hidden Bluetooth audio codec setting
Original: Survey says few readers change this hidden Bluetooth audio setting on Android Nearly a third of respondents had no idea
A survey by Android Authority has found that few Android readers change their device's hidden Bluetooth audio codec setting, with nearly a third of respondents unaware the option even exists. The setting, buried in developer options, can affect audio quality on wireless headphones and speakers. The results have prompted discussion about how many users may be missing out on better sound quality from their Bluetooth devices.
Why now: People are surprised that a setting with a real impact on Bluetooth audio quality is so widely unknown and rarely adjusted.
