A Fast Company piece argues that robots need a better story if they are to win public acceptance. As robotics and AI advance, the article suggests the industry's pitch to the public falls short, and that how robots are framed may matter as much as their technical capabilities for their future in everyday life.
Why now: Ongoing public debate about AI and robotics is prompting discussion of how robots are perceived by society.
