Call to boycott entertainment amid Paramount-Warner Bros merger
Original: ❝ Boycott all movies, entertainments, concerts, newspapers which are in any way connected with the quisling authorities.
With the Skydance-era Paramount-Warner Bros merger officially closing, a call is circulating to boycott all films, concerts, and newspapers tied to 'quisling authorities' — the term used in the wartime Simple Sabotage Field Manual for collaborators with occupying powers. The quote frames the merged media giant as illegitimate, urging audiences to withhold support from its output and allied outlets.
Why now: The completion of the Paramount-Skydance merger has sparked criticism framed as resistance against compromised media ownership.
