The Sasakawa Peace Foundation announced a new initiative addressing the triple planetary crisis of climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution through zero waste approaches in Big Ocean States. The programme focuses on island nations where ocean health is central to economies and livelihoods, promoting waste reduction strategies as a response to mounting marine plastic and pollution pressures.
