Trump rallies repeatedly target trans women as punchlines
Original: Rally after rally the recipe never changes: one lie, one slur, one trans kid as the laugh line. He drags trans women in
Critics are pointing out that the same formula keeps appearing at political rallies: a false claim, an insulting jab, and transgender people, especially trans women in sports, brought up as material for laughs. Commenters describe the recurring attacks on trans kids and trans athletes as a deliberate rhetorical staple of the campaign stump, framing it as a human rights concern rather than legitimate policy debate.
Why now: Transgender people, particularly trans women in sports, remain a recurring talking point on the campaign trail, drawing criticism from LGBTQ advocates
